i have absolutely no riding news. well basically nothing. i cant ride my bike at all anymore. i think im worse at riding now than i was 2 years ago. the other day i was riding back from the ale house in the wee hours a wee bit intoxicated. i wanted to push myself a bit so took off one hand and one foot, then ate shit and ended up in the middle of the main road in a crumpled heap. theres questions in my head as to whether this was due to the alcohol or my lack of bike skills. tough times.

ive been doing other things apart from riding which im more excited about. everyones gone/gone back to uni so i might spend a few months travelling about seeing everyone and find some stuff out. scruffy ben is planning a big game of 40/40 which im so ridiculously in on. we used to call it blocky, no idea why. i think a game of british bulldog and the gun game should be included on the list. oh and tig as well. i dont know what the difference between tig and 40/40 is.

Barend jam update

Winch jam was on Sunday. Took the bike but didn’t ride, had a really good day though taking photos and watching people ride good. I don;t thik anyone got badly hurt and some amazing riding happened. Went down in the car with matt jones and his girlfriend kat. On the way saw a pretty wild crash with a caravan (photo).don’t drive too fast towing stuff i guess.

highlights of the day were seeing lima shredding, twisting everything in sight and doing 360 lookback over the big sets. Kye forte’s flair on the skatepark line, people riding in fancy dress or nothing. People sending themselves on the flyout comp. The transfer between the sklatepark line. There’s probably a lot more i forgot. Anyway heres a load of photos, i am bad with names so sorry for not knowing anyones for captions..

A big thanks to all the guys who made the jam possible and let everyone ride their jumps and generally have a good time, was shithot.

a few of the jumps are still riding, this is one of them. it’s pretty horrible to ride but it just felt good to ride trails again.

rode blewbury on my own on saturday. took some self timer pics, it’s hard to get the timing right. its fun though seeing the result. whos cares. the joys of living in a village with no one to ride with i guess. since i stopped digging the jumps, they’re just really overgrown which makes me sad. maybe someone will take them over one day. there is one really little kid who rides there and he loves it. he always says hello to me and is stoked, he’s like 7 or so.

went to the bar end jam at winchester yesterday. took photos and had a good time, saw people i hadn’t seen in ages and forgot most of their names, sorry about that. cheers to everyone who made it possible/good. will do a proper write up and put some of the photos up in the next few days. also have a new site design in the works, gonna go retro yoo.

i took this picture a while ago and forgot about it. this is dot the dog, with aidan using her as a pillow. although shes skinny shes still pretty comfy. ive never actually fallen asleep on her. are pillows supposed to move in sync with your breathing?

i love youtube.com, i use it as a sort of music mixer, and just search for music videos then while im doing other stuff just let it play, its like kazaa but doesnt slow your computer down although playlists are difficult. heres a video of a magician bloke called Dynamo who i saw a documentary on a while ago and was absolutely amazed. way better than david blaine or paul daniels.
