Aversion trip sexy times

John is the ratty kid I introduced a week or two ago, and he’s still producing the goods. He learnt real good 1 foot flatties this week, and then tried them 1 handed too. He crashed as usual. Some kids, for instance Pipe and John, can crash all the time and get up scathe free. I wish I was part of that select group. Talking of Pipeson, he impressed me enough at the weekend, got loads of really sick and creative tricks that you don’t see every day. For instance, fakie seatstand really fast, to cab out at Dean Lane. Rad.

Summer is fuckin dialled. Aversion trip was probably the best thing in a long while, so much wild stuff went down at night it was unbelievable. In the day, Max Wood did whatever he wanted, including a 3 whip at Jay Alliano’s, which was the best stunt ever. At night all sorts of wild antics went down, including everyone’s new found hero Will Hermann getting soooo loose! That kid is pretty ratty, and fuckin rad. I haven’t got the patience to tell stories online, but may in person. The nights out were some of the best ever, it’s really refreshing going new places with new people, and realising how much more to see and do there is on this little planet.

Here’s the state of my car after the trip. 50 free loaves of bread, and plenty of service station ketchup and mayo meant messy cars, even messier carparks and lots of messy BMX kids. Driving in convoy is the best transport ever, particuarly on motorway. Wantage was an amazing night out, with rugby posts shredded, windows smashed, and one party full on radded up. Fully wanna get rad there alot more this year.

Summer is all about barbeques in the park. This shot shows the nice chilled out park, with a group of utter sickheads chilling with some cider and burgers. Everyone’s moods seem to lighten in summer, regardless of anything else in life, just because the days are longer and warmer. Definetely a good thing. Above you saw Ian Hendrie, pretty pro rollerblader who wrote articles for Unity mag and is part of the sicker rollerbladers who get loose too. Apparently Couch, who I met over the trip took up riding because bladers don’t get loose enough. Good on him I say. Maybe he never got to meet Hendrie and his chaps. Double coping nosepicks are also pretty wild.

Dusk photos are pretty sick. You can get such good photos as the light gets weaker. Banbury park is actually sick, but no one really enjoys it because they ride it every day. Coming back from uni makes you realise how good different parts of life are. Seeing friends and family is definetely one of these experiences. Tomorow should see Cothill fun and games, which I’m really excited about. The weekend with Aidan was awesome, just catching up, reminscing about old days gone by and creating many new stories for years to come.
If anyone who was on Aversion trip is reading, it was really cool to meet loads of new people and see new places. Honestly couldn’t ask for a nicer bunch of chaps. Gives you a much needed fresh incite into living life proper. Thanks go out massively to Louis for giving me, and I’m sure the other guys, the opportunity for hitting that shit up. Look forward to the next rendevous.
