It’s been such a while since my last update, but to be honest I haven’t really shot many photo’s worth using on here. However, I have been having lots of awesome fun, and some stories to tell. Being back in the shire has it’s benefits, one of which includes village parties. Went to a house party a couple of weeks ago, drank a bottle of rum, got rad the passed out in the bath. My friend serenaded me with the guitar and singing, I awoke, shook his hand, ran out the door and woke up in the morning at home. Fuck knows.

Yak made me a panorama view of our trails in Bournemouth. This place is all I’ve ever wanted pretty much, and then I had to move away, life’s a bitch sometimes. Went and played with Yak and Aidan a couple of weeks ago, had a really fun session at the woods. Aidan got a puncture real early, and Yak wasn’t feeling riding, but I had a good ride for sure. Got a couple of snap’s of some tweaker ball doing tricks.

Went barn dancing last Friday night, this was proper hillbilly. A sick rock band played, and I’d polished off a bunch of rum and some Stellburgs, so got pretty kooked. Did some dancing on stage with the band, and got wild making them play loads of Status Quo. Got started on by a rude boy kid and about thirty of his mates, because I wouldn’t give him my glow stick. Had to talk my way out for about twenty minutes until this big black guy saved my wasted self, then I kissed an emo girl. Dialled.

There he is again, the little tweaker. Temp work is pretty sick, I’ve been doing a bunch, at the moment I’m on landscaping, real fun stuff. Just been mowing, strimming, raking, hedge cutting, that sort of stuff. Sixty pounds a day isn’t too shabby for temp work either. The flash didn’t go off on this next one but I was so stoked I posted it anyway.

This weather is the talk of the nation, and for good reason, it sucks. Super sun day working outdoors, got home to go ride and a massive thunderstorm started. Not cool. Went for some pound a pintage the other night in Banbury, left bought a bottle of Lambrini, went back and then hit up a house party after the pub with my poor mans champers. Always dialled when your poor. Tomorrow I’m guna get my first proper pay check in about a year, should be sick, Australia money to be saved and party’s to be had.

I made a car with a face out of a cake and other food the other day. Just one of my many artistic works. Hit up another field party in a marquee a few weeks back now, which was sick as fuck. They had a rad band with about ten members, and a whole bunch of people getting sick. Went with an old mate, young Dan Everard, who we used to ride with years ago. It got real muddy later in the night, and everyone ended up brawling in it, waking up caked in mud, which was dialled. Eddie and I huddled on chairs in the morning in the middle of the field. Five of us also woke up in a two man tent, which was the hottest I’ve ever ever been. Rad times.

Tomorrow night a bunch of my friends and I are heading up to Oxford to see Task Force, a hip hop crew that most readers of blewbmx probably wouldn’t be into. They are actually amazing, and I am too excited. It’s sold out already, but I’ve got my ticket. Saturday night is also another night, Dr Syntax and Stig of the Dump, also in Oxford. One weekend of full on hip hop slickness, it’s going to be a musical treat.

Carina, day dreamer, sicker than a beemer

Is your wondering what that is, it’s a Toyota Carina, of which I am now a proud owner, and it’s developed a bit of a cult following. On our way to Stratford, another ratty Carina full of young guys overtook us, and we got rad with them, hanging out the windows, screaming and on the horn, proper pikey cars, funniest situation in a while. They were so stoked on seeing us in my car and we were so stoked on them, everyone just in hysterics. Lost them, and they drove past us later in the day and got real excited about seeing us again! Sick day in the fun mobile.

Tweaking it every which way

Yak took a bunch of sweet photo’s of me that I got so excited about that I made a digital collage. Loads of different bike shapes, and one with a limb off. I’ve been progressing obviously, because that never happens. This has been a bit of a story update, I do love a good story of two though. I’ll leave you with what only can be described as, amazing. Goodbye internet.

I had been wanting to get some stickers done for ages, finally got my arse into gear and got them sent off to the printers in America (works out cheapest?!) They will look something like the one above. They should be here sometime next month and cost next to nothing…

I got my exam results for my second year and did pretty good so chuffed with that. Can’t beleive only got one year left, time has gone way too quickly.

Might also have an ad in the new Ride magazine but I havn’t brought it yet. The thing the garage in Blewbury seems to sell is ‘adult’ magazines for all the stable lads.

Sunset at end of the day over the skatepark. After this we all drove down to Chazs house in Bournemouth which seemed to take forever, but it was a good night out in B-town. The night out was pretty messy, I remember paying nearly £5 for a drink in one of the clubs we went to, wasn’t too keen on that. One more update of pictures from Barend to come

Seems like summer might finally be here? The new Twenty bikes video looks good. Most epic music ever. Kink have a new website too with some good Chris Doyle photos. Team shovelload and Stu relax. This update has picture of random phone pictures from the aversion trip.

Chris Dando got a tattoo so people accept him into the Navy or something. Epic skatepark has been having trouble making ends meet for a while and the original couple who owned have gone. It’s being run by the climbing wall people for the moment. My inside contact is on the case. Hopefully it will stay open in the long run.

Tinhed is back from visiting his lady in Australia and since I last saw him has broken his nose, jaw, bowles. He does some good drawings for the Band Foals. They are getting quite big, managed to miss them in Cardiff.

So this was half of day three from the Aversion road trip, also see day 1 and day 2. Woke up at aidens sisters house in Bristol and went riding.

I had only ever been to St Georges and Motion park in Bristol before so didn’t know what to expect. The whole park is on a hill, it was good just pedalling at the corner quater pipe thing and seeing how fast you could hit it without dying

Hengrove skatepark

I though we were going to Bournemouth after Dean lane but we went to Hengrove too. Hengrove is always a reet good laugh. The hip destroys your wrists and ankles but I can’t get enough of it! The bowls are fun to nibble on, Merlin had hang fives going on a treat round them.

Gav flipped the hip out of nowhere. Was so good, no helmet, no pussy runs. LEGEND! Louis and the guy in the background were filming lots so hopefully that will see the light of day soonish.

Will 180 off a flat bank to flat via a sub box. I think Merlin did this too.
