Most people on here know Tinhed I guess. I worked at Grundons with him for a while cleaning out dustbins. If you have ever wondered what those art kids get up to at univeristy here it is.

My Welsh sources told me that Newport has some new ramps, I didn’t believe it at first either! The legendary jump box is gone, I am sure that will bring a tear to the eye of many a grown man… Here are some words and pictures!
“Newport has some new stuff! They have a new street section on the left as you go in, with millions of slightly different sized transitions designed to catch you out. Basically loads of flat bank hips, peg ledges, and a wooden roller into a steep quarter. The ramps are still pretty spongy, which may or may not get better… time will tell.
The main news is that the infamous jump box (which is probably older than most of the people reading this) has been permanently put out of action, replaced by two bigger jump boxes in a wooden rhythm section type deal.
The transitions are super steep, and will probably be changed as it was pretty hard to clear them both. They better change them soon as there is no way anyone should be forced to put a cheeky pedal between two boxes…
Due to the extra jump box, the death pit has also gone for the time being, meaning that there is nowhere for anyone to practise their x-games bangers in the south west, as motion has no pit either. This will put an end to all the 14 year old scally kids at Newport flipping the box then asking how to do an x-up. Amazing.”
So there you go. Cheers Jim for the words and pictures.
