So Christmas day ended up being pretty rad, eat some nice food, got some good stuff, gave some good stuff out, chilled. Good times, pretty rad after last year in Australia to do the standard thing and feel fatter than Johnny Vegas afterwards.
Had some f-in awesome nights out since Friday, including the Lightsinthewoods Christmas do. Then a night in Wantage ending up walking Miles across fields down a haunted path with Pipe looking for a Great Western train. Then Xmas Eve Eddie Chaffe, Josh and I went for a rad meal; afterwards I met up with a bunch of sweet old friends, saw some rad dude do hours of acoustic singing classics and got wild as shit.
Here’s a couple of snaps of what I did Boxing Day (cheers Turner). Found a santa outfit while we hung with Richy P at Pizza hut and eat his complimentary staff free pizza for him. Then jumped over sign off a bank which was fun. Fun street session today, just got fucked up aching elbows now from too much yanking up in the cold. Peace and love. x

Yo, I don’t really have anything of my own to update with, so I’m just going to put up some random things that I’ve been looking at on the evening of the shortest day of the year. Shabba.

Went for the Lightsinthewoods Christmas do last night, everyone was present bar Daz, and Jesus came to party from Bournemouth. Indian meal out then town. Eventful night, loads of real fun shit happened, went to some rad pubs and bars, look out for a LITW update with sweet photo’s. Best night in ages.

Just a little update with some winter radness from a nice weekend. Cabin fever is seriously full on at this time of the year, but days like this make it that little bit more bearable. Plus we rode Corby and saw some rad friends after dark last night, refreshing to hit some ramps that are actually pretty fun. Enjoy the ISO-400 graininess.
New stuff’s been going up like nobodies business, 33 jumps including the half complete ones now; according to Pipe. Pipeheaaaddddddd.
There he is. Stacking and shaping a new hip landing we built in Daz’s doorstep challenge.
Amazing view through the woods this evening from the back of the hut as the sun set. Really hazy, clear wintry woods, such a nice afternoon.
This thing doesn’t get used much but looks sweet.
Crazy nice sunsets over the field you walk through by the woods, 4:15PM on Sunday December 7, 2008.
Foggy sunsets and a nice tree by the farmhouse, stoked on this photo.

This is pretty much how we spend most of the minutes of weekend daylight which are not spent piling up mud. Camp fires, talking shit, eating food and sitting in the hut. Occasionally, Liam trys to make Ed eat a whole sausage roll in one by putting it in his mouth and saying he can’t use his hands. Light entertainment.
So this time one year ago exactly Eddie and I were in Rockhampton, Queensland. We rode this sweet ass skatepark with a bunch of rad bowls and hips that you could roast realy fast. Afterwards, we went out and partied the shit out of the town, met some rad chicks and got loose. This was a good place to be, one of our (or at least my) favourite towns we visited.
This time two years ago Ollie and I were shredding the shit out of the Farm late at night. I remember the ride home vividly, we were both absolutely freezing and cranked hard the whole way back. Ollie had raw dogged his frame and I think I don’t think he had a choice in the polka dots I gave his bike.
Training the long hip at Slade’s, November 27th 2005. Little Tom from Croydon took this shot, Ollie, Tom and I were hanging out every day pretty much back then. Getting to know the lines at Slade’s was fun as shit, I couldn’t ride anything at all opposite back then but started to learn about this time. We used to do alot of partying in the Villa, and the Consortium Tuesdays, lots of drinking at Tom’s and in the SU bar Dylans at this time too. I think I also used to attend Uni in small amounts to for a while at this early stage.
