Some pictures from over the border in Wales. Good times! Back in Oxford this weekend

Went up to Cardiff for the weekend to see the lady and ride some bikes. Went to ride the jumps at goldtecs/Caerphilly. Jim did some tables and was riding the jumps real well. I sucked but had lots of fun.

Chaz is in Austin with Pipe, Lima and Poll etc, he has some good photos according to Poll… May see them on here at some point.

So massive update this one. Had loads of pictures to put up, but no time. Who knows what I do but can never seem to find to update this as much as a should. I will try and do it more. So jim can do downside whips now. Pretty damn ‘hawt’.

Some more trails fun. SO thats about all the photos for today kids. Go eat your greens and dig trails. I am back in the shire next weekend, my trails better have been kept alive or kids will be eliminated. FACT. Chris Mahoney was in town yesterday doing a demo down in the bay. Was quite funny, I will make a video soon. There lots of photo type stuff on my other website so go there if you’re into that kinda thing.

Hopefully see people back in Oxford, I will pass my driving test this summer too. Hopefully. That’s all for now.

Basically trails are rad. Went up Caerphilly (Goldtecs) again last night and had a real good session. Marcus, Jim and I went up there. Marcus wasn’t feeling it too much so borrowed my camera and took some rad photos. That place is infested with these little bugs which eat the shit out of your skin and each one feel like have been stung by a nettle. Gotta get me some insect killer spray or something.

Me table. So good to be riding trails again, scares the shit out of me but can’t help myself. Best thing in the world. I got some shiny new Odyssey race forks too, a headset which actually doesn’t require power steering to turn and a monster dirt tyre for the front.

Red Bull Empire of Dirt
is looking good. Kye said “The route of the course is fairly similar to last year, just bigger and better. We decided to keep almost all of the major features including the huge dirt pipe and the big curve wall ride. One of the exciting new areas is the elevated quarter pipe, which also has a large bridge ledge. I think it’s going to be the gnarliest part of the course! This year’s course has been designed with more of a divide between the dirt and street side. There really is something for all the riders.”

So there you go, go out and ride and fail your exams.

Overiview

So the Goldtec trails are running, pretty damn fun. Riding a lot better than they look in these photos. Wish I was up there now but stuck revising for exams… Sooo good to be back riding trails. Jim did the whole right hand line which gets pretty big at the bottom. I have ordered a dirt tyre for the summer. No more park tyre for me!
